Reporting with great sadness that --

World renowned psychoanalyst-psychiatrst Dori Laub, MD, passed away on June 23, 2018.

He presented on trauma at one of our national conferences a decade ago and kept up his membership with AAPCSW until his passing.

He was a clinical professor of psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine, Co-founder of the Genocide Studies Program at Yale's Macmillan Center, and Founder of the Fortunoff Yale Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies. He was a worldwide lecturer on PTSD. He studied genocide and its impact on their victims.

His books:
Testimony: Crises of Witnessing in Literature, Psychoanalysis, and History (with Shoshana Felman, Routledge 1992), and Co-edited: Psychoanalysis and Holocaust Testimony: Unwanted Memories of Social Trauma (Routledge).
